The English Festival

Come along to Riverside Park to share in some family entertainment and celebrate all things English.

There will be four main zones: Farming and Kent Traders; The Village Green; Medieval; and The Beach with Seaside Attractions.

Urgent notice: parking at the English Festival, Saturday 21 April
Visitors planning to go along to the English Festival at Riverside Country Park, Gillingham this Saturday are advised that parking will not be available at the event due to the recent heavy rain.
Medway Council regrets to announce that due to the recent and continuous rain the field usually used for parking is no longer suitable.
Visitors are therefore asked to use the free park and ride service, which will operate throughout the event, running between 10am and 6pm, from:
· The Historic Dockyard, Chatham, ME4 4TY
and
· Rainham Mark Grammar School, Pump Lane, ME8 7AJ
The council is able to provide a limited number of spaces close to Riverside Country Park for visitors with disabilities. These will be located at the car park at the end of Sharpes Green (off Lower Rainham Road).
