A celebration to be held in the churchyard of St. Mary's Church, in Dock Road, Chatham, which will include a number of readings from Dickens novels with connections to the church and churchyard, some hymns of the period and the laying of flowers on each of the graves that Dickens took the names from to use as characters in his novels, there will also be the laying of flowers in memory of Dickens' sister Harriet Ellen, who died of smallpox in Chatham aged 3.

This event will be followed by a Celebration Tea, for members and invited guests.
