The City of London Sinfonia returns to The Central Theatre stage on Thursday, 25 March at 7.30pm.
The programme includes Wagner’s Siegfried Idyll, composed as a birthday present to his wife following the birth of their son Siegfried in 1869. Other favourites include the ever-popular Adagio for Strings by Barber and Haydn’s stately symphony No. 41.
There will be a pre-concert talk at 6.45pm and the concert will be followed by informal live music in the bar. Tickets cost £18 and £15 with concessions available for Senior Citizens, students and groups of eight or more.
The City of London Sinfonia will return to the Chatham venue on Sunday, 6 June.
