Visitors to Rochester came face to face with a merry band of medieval monks on Tuesday, 27 July.Totally Monked was a special free festival featuring a live interactive trail exploring the monastic and Norman heritage in Rochester. Five monks set up camp at various locations around the town, where they spent the day showing visitors a wide range of lost skills and crafts &amp;ndash; including prayer skills, calligraphy, herbalism, and candle making.

Visitors to Medway libraries can now benefit from a new loyalty scheme when renting DVDs, blu-ray, CDs and console games. The scheme, Reward Yourself is free to join for all registered borrowers and is now operating in all Medway libraries.
Customers can have their loyalty card stamped every time they rent any item from the sound and vision range, and then receive a free rental when they have six stamps on their card.
